This work exists to apply Biblical truth to public power, so that government serves the people openly, humbly, and honestly under God.
Scripture is clear that those who are given authority are held to a higher standard, not a lower one. Government power is not neutral. It is entrusted power, and God is explicit about what that means.
Integrity Requires Light
The Bible does not teach blind trust in authority. It teaches stewardship, integrity, accountability, and transparency. Integrity cannot exist in secrecy.
Duplicity thrives in darkness. Integrity requires light. As written in John 3:20–21, "Everyone who does evil hates the light… But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light."
God’s Standard for Leaders
What does God require of those in power? Micah 6:8 tells us clearly: "He has shown you what is good… to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Hidden agendas and concealed deals violate this command.
Scripture warns that hidden things will eventually be revealed: "There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed" (Luke 12:2). From the warnings to leaders in Mark 6:18 and Luke 11:46, to the definition of authority in Romans 13:4, the message is consistent: Authority is for the good of the people, not the protection of the powerful.
